Call for Papers and Call for Participation
INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON Image Processing in Industrial Information Technology – Methods and Applications

organized by PELINCEC Working Group 4 – Industrial Information Technology
Warsaw, October 14-15, 2004
PELINCEC is an acronym of the Centre of Excellence of Power Electronics and Intelligent Control for Energy Conservation at Warsaw University of Technology. It is operating under the auspices of EU V Framework Programme of Scientific Research. The aims of the centre are promotion of research and dissemination of knowledge in multi-disciplinary areas of industrial electronics and control with special emphasis on industrial information technology.
The workshop is planned to be a two-day forum for meeting and discussions of specialists in the area of methods, algorithms and applications of image processing from both academia and industry. Prospective Authors working in those broad areas are invited to submit papers describing their scientific work in general as well as short communications on their more recent results. The significant input from the young scientists starting their career (Ph.D. students, graduate students) is very welcome. The workshop is open for all participants free of charge.

Post-workshop Publications:
Selected papers (extended versions) will be published in a Special Issue of “Przegląd Elektrotechniczny” (“Electrical Engineering Review”)
